  • Critical Issues Seminar

    Join ASCE Philadelphia Younger Member Forum for its annual Critical Issues Seminar, a technical panel discussion where we invite industry professionals to discuss a currently pressing issue in the field of Civil Engineering

    The topic this year will be Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, and the panelists will be:

    *Mark Kopko - Special Advisor - Transformational Technology at Pennsylvania Department of Transportation

    *Erick Guerra - Professor of City and Regional Planning the University of Pennsylvania

    *Brett Fusco - Manager of Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission Office of Long-Range Planning

  • Volunteer Cleanup on Schuylkill River Trail
    Saturday, May 25, 2019

    Join the YMF and the Schuylkill River Development Corporation (SRDC) for a volunteer event to help clean up and beautify portions for the Schuylkill River Trail at Bartram's Mile. The cleanup will happen between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 25th.

    The group will meet at the Bartram's Mile Trailhead at South 49th Street and Botanic Avenue. Snacks and Drinks will be provided. This is a FREE event. Make sure you bring comfortable clothing & shoes, and sunscreen.

  • Election Happy Hour
    Thursday, May 30, 2019

    Join the YMF for their annual Election Happy Hour! Attendees will have the opportunity to network with current and future Board members during the event, and all YMF members are encouraged to vote for the 2019-2020 YMF Executive Board. The event will be held at Smokin Betty's in Philadelphia, and light appetizers will be provided.

    This event is FREE, but please RSVP to help with planning. Everyone is welcome, but you must be 21+ to purchase and consume alcohol. Please see the flyer for additional details.
  • Urban Farming Volunteer & Service Day with Life Do Grow Farm
    Saturday, June 8, 2019

    Join the YMF for a day of hands-on building, cleaning, and gardening with Philly Urban Creators! YMF Volunteers will assist with gardening tasks and laying the groundwork for an urban harvest! Life Do Grow Farm (by Philly Urban Creators) is an Urban Revitalization project in North Philadelphia. Visit their website ( for more info!

  • Annual Phillies Game and Tailgate
    Friday, July 26, 2019

    Join the YMF for their Annual Phillies Game and Tailgate held on Friday, July 26, 2019 starting at 4:00 pm with the game at 7:05 pm. The Phillies will be facing off in their rival Atlanta Braves in a crucial divisional match up.

    The cost of the event is $20, with food and tailgate games included. Drinks are BYOB.

    The YMF will be meeting in Lot M at the intersection of Pattison Avenue and Darien Street. Due to tickets being purchased in advance, cancellations will not be available for this event after registration closes.
